Charterpoint Ltd will not exceed the UK law maximum working time limits and will appropriately compensate overtime for all employees. Employees shall not be required to work more than 48 hours per week, including overtime except in extraordinary business circumstances with their consent. We will not sustain any business dealings or relationships with any individual, company, supplier or contractor whom does not comply to the working hours laws set out by the respective countries. Employees of such organisations should have at least one day off per working week. Unless extraordinary business circumstances apply and with employees consent, Charterpoint Ltd employees are allowed at least two days off per seven day week.

Charterpoint Ltd are fully committed to and work within the UK working time limits laws. We do not allow our employees to work beyond this time frame except in extraordinary business circumstances and with their consent. Over time is payable if employees work beyond Charterpoint Ltd office hours of 9am – 17.30pm (GMT / BST). This includes a mandatory one hour lunch break.

Charterpoint Ltd employees are required to sign in and out of Charterpoint Ltd facilities using technological “swipe card”. This monitors employee working hours so we can ensure employees are working sensible and law-abiding hours. It is Charterpoint Ltd employer policy and responsibility to monitor employee hours and action if excessive hours are recorded.

Charterpoint Ltd encourage employees to make the most of their holiday entitlement. Charterpoint Ltd provide a generous and rewarding holiday entitlement scheme which improves annually with employee loyalty. All public holidays are of course honoured and we also accommodate a Christmas shutdown period for our employees to enjoy the festive period. All holiday dates, entitlement and policy are stated on our internal communication resource (Intrapoint) and are stated on company noticeboards.

Annual Improvements
Charterpoint Ltd conduct a six month assessment on employee time recording software to ensure accuracy of time-keeping and ensure employees are not working past our time limits.
If it comes to our attention that an employee is working over the working limits it is the responsibility of Charterpoint Ltd to discuss the matter with the employee to identify methods of making working conditions less time consuming for employee.
Every Charterpoint Ltd employee is required to attend his / her Annual Review in which they are entitled to discuss working conditions and welcomed to offer feedback on what can be done to improve his / her working conditions.
Charterpoint Ltd oversee a production and technology assessment every 6 months to identify if new technology and / or production equipment can be installed to aid customer input and help for an easier, more flexible working environment.
