We will not sustain any business dealings or relationships with any individual, company, supplier or contractor whom uses forced labour.
Our Health & Safety policy is also available on Intrapoint for employee reference. This outlines how we protect against any forced labour within Charterpoint Ltd. We also provide a health care cash plan for all employees from Westfield Health to ensure we do everything we can to provide good health for our workforce.
Charterpoint Ltd are committed to ensuring all work tasks are of a reasonable nature and actively encourage an open door policy for employees to discuss any problems with Charterpoint Ltd Senior Management in strict confidence.
Charterpoint Ltd strongly support and endorse the UK Anti-Slavery Day Act 2010 in support of the millions of men, women and children whom continue to be victims of slavery and to raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of slavery.
Annual Improvements
Charterpoint Ltd regularly check hiring practices to ensure we remain updated with any changes to recruitment legislation.
We also ensure Health & Safety polices, and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies remain updated and implemented.
We currently have an open door policy for any employees to discuss any grievances in which they may feel they are a victim of forced labour. We aim to improve this communication system to ensure greater confidentiality and further encouragement for employees to discuss any grievances they may have.
Our Health Cash plan is also annually reviewed to identify if we can provide an improved service for our employees.
Charterpoint Ltd regularly review our hiring practices to ensure we stay updated with any changes to recruitment legislation. We also ensure any third party recruiters adhere to our recruitment policy to guarantee any prospective employees are clear on our forced labour policies, which are available on our internal communication systems (Intrapoint). All employees are regularly able to view our policies and provide any recommendations on where and how we can make working at Charterpoint Ltd a better environment for themselves.
