New Staff Round Up!

2008 has been a non-stop year for Charterpoint, with the recruitment of several new members of staff having a positive impact on sales

Charterpoint are very dedicated towards developing and maintaining overseas business opportunities and have further expanded our sales team to assist in achieving our goals. We are therefore delighted to officially welcome Rashad Brydan and Sofia Pipera in their new roles of Middle East and Africa Account Manager and European Account Manager. Born in Libya, Rashad is fluent in Arabic, French, Dutch and English, offering fantastic communication skills and enthusiasm. Closer to home, Greek-born Sofia offers fantastic experience in the industry. Also bilingual she is already making a big difference for Charterpoint throughout Europe.

Charterpoint Sales Director Martin Bray explained, “The Middle East and Africa are both massive and developing markets which we have been looking to penetrate for some time”. Rashad offers us a platform to do this and we are very excited about the future here.

We are also delighted to have Sofia on board as this will provide even more opportunities throughout Europe. We now offer a sales force fluent in eight alternative languages and are already finding this to be very popular with our overseas customers.

Elsewhere in Sales, Nicole Trauernicht has been brought in to support and assist the team, whilst Debbie Killeen, who has a wealth of experience in the industry, has been recruited as Business Development Manager to enforce further growth of Charterpoint.

It was with regret that after seven years at the company Senior Account Manager Helen Critchley left the company this year to move on to pastures new. Charterpoint would like to thank Helen for all her work and commitment during her time at Charterpoint and wish her every success in the future. This loss was subsidised however with the promotion of Chloe Mather from Sales Support to Account Manager, so a big congratulations to Chloe.

Our ever-busy logistics team has also been strengthened with the appointments of Harpreet Singh and Jamie Smith to assist the team. Additional recruitments have also been made to our engineering and finance teams.
